The Steps to Success Learning Center was opened in 2002 by Mona Angelowicz and Amy Marschel. Steps to Success uses a total team approach and partnership with families and schools to provide a structured learning experience through one-to-one and small group instruction. The company's goal is to catch the students who are falling through the cracks, academically, socially and cognitively. The company performs a thorough assessment to create a customized program designed for each student.

The highly trained staff uses a variety of multi-sensory, academic programs such as the Lindamood-BellTM reading program; Orton-Gillingham reading and language program, Steps to Success method, which includes organization strategies for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, social skills, subject specific tutoring and study skill.
